Our parish supports two Food Bank ministries.  There are collection baskets for both in the narthex.

The first is located in our parish. Contact Deacon Tom or ask our secretary, Monica Breitholle, for more information.

The second is the Henry County Help Center Inc Food Bank. 

Henry County Help Center is made up of individuals, businesses and churches that volunteer to make the program possible. Since opening in 2013, the Help Center has distributed food and supplies to over 850 familes, 2,398 people, 829 of those under the age of 18. The number continues to grow each week. Satellite distribution sites are now located in Port Roayal Baptist Church, New Castle Christian Church, Drennon Christian Church, and Franklinton Baptist Church to help assist with distribution. Donations from Dare to Care make up the greatest portion of support for this program.

Volunteers are especially needed on Tuesdays at 9:30 AM to help unload the truck, Wednesdays at 9 AM to unload the produce truck, and Thursdays from 11:15-4PM for distribution food boxes.
